Bug Game

This is one of the 41 activities your child can play in Busy Little Brains.

You can design your own bug in this activity. Create very strange, animated creatures by dragging the flapping wings, moving legs, blinking eyes, wiggling antennae, munching mouths, and blinking spots around the screen. Each time a bug part is selected, its name is spoken. There are 4 different bug bodies.

This creative activity encourages thinking about the relationships between items and their functions (e.g., How are the features usually placed?, Is symmetry important?, or Does the bug need both legs and wings, and if so, why?).
