Some people think that dragon legends are based upon dinosaur fossils, huge bones that have been found since ancient times.
There is a dragon constellation in the sky, called Draco (from a dragon in Greek mythology). Draco is near the northern celestial pole; the tail of Draco is between the Big Dipper and the Little Dipper.
