flower - the yellow flowers each have five petals; the female flowers (the female flowers are closer to the vine than male flowers) will eventually develop into pumpkins if they are pollinated.
leaf - the heart-shaped leaves collect sunlight and convert it into food for the plant.
pumpkin - the mature pumpkin is orange and full of flat, white seeds.
stem - the thick stem supports the vine and the heavy pumpkin.
tendril - spiral tendrils develop at leaf nodes; a tendril curls tightly around an object (like a shrub or a fence) to help the vine climb and keep it in securely in place.
