Number Eight Wheel This 2-page print-out makes an "Number Eight" wheel; it consists of a base page together with a wheel that spins around. The pages are attached using a metal brad. When cutting out the windows in the upper wheel, you can either cut out the answer window entirely or leave one side attached, creating a flap that can be opened and closed by the student. 
When you spin the wheel, things related to the number eight appear, including planets in our solar system, arms on an octopus, notes in an octave, sides of an octagon, 8:00, legs on a spider, 8 tally marks, and 8 in Roman numerals. The student then writes down the things related to the number eight. |
