Square Root Wheel This 2-page print-out makes a square root wheel; it consists of a base page together with a wheel that spins around. The pages are attached using a metal brad. When cutting out the windows in the upper wheel, you can either cut out the answer window entirely or leave one side attached, creating a flap that can be opened and closed by the student. When you spin the wheel, square roots appear, including the square roots of 1, 4, 9, 16, 25, 36, 49, 64, 81, and 100. The student then writes down square roots. |
