This spooky Jack O’Lantern card is easily made from hole-punch paper glued to a piece of black construction paper. It makes a great card or Halloween decoration.
- A piece of black construction paper
- Orange and green construction paper to punch
- Glue stick
- A hole punch
- A pencil
Instructions
Fold the piece of black construction paper in half to make a card shape.
Using orange and green paper as well as a paper punch, punch out a lot of tiny orange circles and a smaller number of green circles.
Using a pencil, draw a Jack O’Lantern on your card.
Using a glue stick, put glue on the Jack O’Lantern (but not on the eyes or mouth). Glue the orange circles onto the Jack O’Lantern.
It’s easier if you first put the circles along the outline of the Jack O’Lantern, and then around the eyes, nose, and mouth. Then, fill in the rest of the Jack O’Lantern. Lastly, glue on the green circles at the top of the jack-o’lantern.
You now have a spooky Jack O’Lantern card for Halloween (or a great decoration)!
To pick up the tiny circles, moisten your fingertip slightly.
