Make a beautiful, stylized, and intricate Star of David card from paper. This craft makes a great Hanukkah card!
Estimated Time: 15 minutes
Supplies Needed:
- Two colors of paper (card stock or construction paper works best)
- Scissors
- Glue
- Optional – A protractor
- Optional – Glitter or glitter glue
Instructions
1.
Fold a piece of paper in half.
2.
Fold over one side, then the other, to make two 60 degree folds. You can do this by eye, or you can use a protractor. This is a good exercise in geometry and measuring angles.
3.
You’ll get a wedge shape.
4.
Cut off the middle part of the wedge (this will make a Star of David shape when you eventually unfold the paper).
5.
Cut a lot of the paper away from the sides.
6.
Unfold your star carefully.
7.
Glue the star onto a folded piece of construction paper for a great Hanukkah card.
You can also decorate your star with glitter or glitter glue.
