*** CRAFTS AND ACTIVITIES FOR SPRINGTIME AND EASTER ***
It's time to get ready for Spring and Easter with Enchanted
Learning's crafts, activities, print-outs, and information
pages.
*** ART COLORING PAGES AND ACTIVITIES ***
Visit our large new section of print-outs and on-line
coloring pages of major works of art, plus art activities.
This is a fun way for children to learn composition, to
experiment with color, and to get to know famous works of
art. You'll find Leonardo da Vinci and prehistoric cave
art, Audubon and Hokusai, van Gogh and Vermeer, even Amish
quilts and African masks. We have 60 pages already, and
we're adding more all the time.

*** THE LOUISIANA PURCHASE ***
For $15 million, the United States in 1803 purchased land
from France extending from the Port of New Orleans as far as
what is now Montana. This comes to less than 3 cents per
acre; it must be one of the best real estate deals in the
history of the world.

*** THE CONTINENTS AT ENCHANTED LEARNING ***
We've grouped together print-outs, information, and
activities to make an easy-to-use Enchanted Learning
resource on each continent.
*** EXPLORERS OF THE NEW WORLD ***
Read about the traders, explorers, scientists, missionaries,
and conquistadors who explored the Western Hemisphere.

*** NEW CLOZE PRINT-OUTS: T. REX AND DR. SEUSS ***
Print out our new cloze activities: one on Tyrannosaurus
rex and one on Dr. Seuss (Theodor Seuss Geisel). Cloze
print-outs are fill-in-the-blank pages. Each of ours has a
word bank. Students practice their reading comprehension
skills by figuring out the right word in context for each
blank. (And, if this is new to you, yes, the word "cloze"
really does have a "z" in it!)
