The Pleiades, Moon, Jupiter, Aldebaran, and Venus over Lake Washington
|

|
In this photograph over Lake Washington, start with the planet Venus, the bright celestial body nearest to the horizon. To the right of Venus and up just a bit is the star Aldebaran. Directly above Aldebaran is Jupiter. Follow a line from Venus through Jupiter, and you'll reach the Pleiades star cluster. And of course that's the Moon below and to the right of the Pleiades.
