King Charles III (1948- ) is currently the King of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth. As his mother Queen Elizabeth II was one of the longest reigning monarchs ever, Charles is interestingly the longest waiting heir-apparent in British history (he became king when he was 73).
Charles was divorced from his first wife, Lady Diana Spencer; they had two sons: William (the Prince of Wales) and Prince Harry. King Charles is currently married to his second wife, Camilla Parker Bowles (the Queen consort).
