January 19, 2003 Hi, I love your site, it has good info, Enchanted Learning has very good info on Trilobites which helped me study for my AS level Geology Exam - and I'm 17!!
I also like your english-japanese dictionary as I am think of learning Japanese myself.
I have a few sugestions for the dictionary though:
Comic Book = Manga
Manga are japanese comics and in Japan the are printed mostly in black and white, this is because it is cheaper that way and takes less time to make, as Manga are more popular in Japan than comics are in America, England and other english speaking places, 40% of japanese literature being currently printed are Manga and most peoples favourite Magazines are Manga ones. There are lots of different Manga magazines like 'Comic Bon Bon' for boys 'Nakayoshi' for girls and manga magazines for grown ups too; like 'One More Kiss' for ladys and 'Morning' for men.
animeeshon/anime = Animation (Cartoons)
Japanese cartoons are sometimes trnaslated on put on TV, like Pokemon & Sailor Moon. They can be watched by girls and boys and some, which aren't usaully put on TV are for grown ups an teenagers too.
Sailor Moon is copyright of Naoko Takeuchi, Toei Animation, and Kodansha Manga, and is licenced by DiC .ltd,
'Comic Bon Bon', 'Nakayoshi', 'One More Kiss', and 'Morning' are all owned by Kodansha Manga
Pokemon is copyright of Nintendo, Toei Animation (I think), and 4 Kids
