Tyrannosaurus by far : I notice that many seem to believe (particularly young children) Tyrannosaurus to have been "de-throned" from his place as the largest carnivorous dinosaur. But this is untrue...some Rex specimens are currently being excavated that will put the Giganatosaurus size arguments to rest. These rexies are huge, and based on current measurements of bones, are 10% or so larger than Giganatosaurus. This is an un-shakable vote for Tyrannosaurus...no other dinosaur has captured such imagination in me.

The best dinosaurs ever were the raptors. They were the deadliest killers of all time, especially Utahraptor. Megaraptor is also pretty cool so you can add him to my list. Once again Rod C. I think you have been misinformed. Full sized adult rexes are almost always found in proximity. If they hnted in packs only during the mating season, this would not be the case in the fossil record. More likely, like birds, T.Rex could have pair-bonded for life and hunted together side by side. The reason T.Rex skeletons are sometimes found alone (thought this is no longer the case) was more due to the fact that it takes alot to kill a single T.Rex, let alone two or three than it exibiting solitary behaviour. This is a vote for T.Rex.

i love parasaurolophus it's the best. i have read that rex was a loner, but some say it was a pack hunter. i have heard the most though is that during the mating season and the season that the baby rex is being raised, the mates hunt toghether. however during the rest of there life, they are loners. oh well, we maynever know. i like the parasaurolophus and all hadrosaures.

IF IT JUST BURSTED INTO A HEARD IT KNEW THAT SOON ALL THE HEARD WOULD BE ON THE MOVE B/C THEY USED THEIR HOSNS 4 COMMUNICATION THEARETICLY.HE WOULD USUALLY HAVE GONE FOR THE SICK AND INJURED ANIMALS, LIKE MODERN DAY PREDATORS, WHICH IS THE BASIS 4 ME SAYIN THEY COULD'T CATCH ANYTHING 100% OF THE TIME.MANT SCIENTIST DO THINK THAT REX WAS A LONER, ONLY THRE SMALLER AND YOUNGER REXS WHO ONLY JUST WENT OUT ON THEIR OWN WOULD TRAVEL IN PACKS. BUT USUALLY A STRONG MALE COULD HAVE GONE OFF ON THEIR OWN, ECSPECIALY THE FEMALES, THE TERROR OF THE CRETACEOUS.WELL THIS SI A VOTE FOR PARA, A GREAT DINO.

What do you mean Roc C? If you admit it was normal not for T.Rex to have a 100 percent kill rate, what's your rational for including it as a reason to vote para? Anyway, a kill ratio of 3 out of 5 chases is extremely good, compairable to modern day lions.

I also don't see big heards posing a threat to T.Rex. No para has enough brains to threaten T.Rex, not even in a group. Hundreds of para will scatter like leaves during a chase. What do you mean? Predators run into large herds all the time! You obviosly know very little about animals and probally resort to serious truth-twisting to make your case look stronger.

Also, T.Rex, most probally hunted in packs. Though T.Rex was aonly about 3 percent of the fauna, we find groups of T.Rex together, which is not what you'd expect if it's 3
