My favorite dinosaur is the Therapsine even though it isn't really classified as a dinosaur. I thought they were really interesting because they had fur! Even though it isn't a real dino I think it would be really neat to have info. on it. I also think you would get a lot more hits on your site if you had true facts on "furry" dinos. MEGA RAPTOR IS MY FAVORITE DINOSAUR BECAUSE IT WAS ALMOST AS BIG AS TREX. WHILE T REX WAS A BIG DINOSAUR IT'S BRAIN DEALT MAINLY WITH ITS SENSES. THE THINKING PART OF MEGARAPTOR'S BRAIN WAS VERY LARGE. IT ALSO HAD LARGE CURVED SICKLE CLAWS. WITH IT'S SIZE AND INTELLIGENCE AND KILLER CLAWS IT WOULD HAVE DOMINATED AS A PREDATOR IN THE CRETACEOUS PERIOD.

My favorite dinosaur is Apatosaurus or Brontosaurus. Either name works. Apatosaurus is my pick for a favorite dinosaur because of its enormous size. I have always been interested in large animals and Apatosaurus is quite large. Weighing in at 30 tons,it was one of the heaviest of the sauropods.Only Brachiosaurus and a few others weighed more than it did. ( Ultrasaurus and Supersaurus are thought to only be large brachiosaurs.)Apatosaurus was also a very long dinosaur that reached a lenghth of at least 70-80 feet. ( The longest dinosaur Seismosaurus grew to 150 feet long.) I beleive with its enormous size and strong tail, Apatosaurus could defend itself against the likes of any Allosaur, which was Apatosaurus's worst enemy. Although Allosaurus had strong sharp teeth and an enormous jaw. It would probably take him/her a while to bite through Apatosaur's thick hide. That is why Apatosaur is my favorite dinosaur.

I like the hadrosaurs, although I would never refer to them as "duckbills". Take that off! My main fascination with these dinosaurs is the great variety of nasal arches and crests on the heads. They are fun dinosaurs to draw and paint. It is also good that there is a lot if information about them, and evidence of their behavior.

Coelophysis because it is one of the oldest known dinosaurs. This dinosaur was only 3 feet tall but 8 feet long. It was very fast and a meat eater. I think it is cool to be very small and still be an effective hunter.

My favorite dinosaur is the stegosaurus. I love it so much, I sleep with a stuffed stegosaurus every night. Her name is Steggy. I can name lots of facts about the stegosaurus-
1. The plates on its back kept it protected from the sun and predators.
2. it had spikes on it's tail to fight with
3. they halfway buried their eggs in the warm sand to incubate them
4. the stegosaurus had a small head and therefor was probably not very smart (but personally, I think that burying eggs to keep them warm is smart)
5. They lived through almost all the periods of the dinosaurs
6. The stegosaurus was a herbivore
7. The stegosaurus were usually very peaceful
8. They weren't very fast because of their weight
9. Their skin was very bumpy
10. They were very protective of their young
