Spinosaurous- the spinosaurous is my favorite dinosaur because it has large powerful hind legs and a smaller version of the hind leg as the fore leg. it is also able to swim underwater for a long period of time.

Velociraptor was my favorite Dinosuar.But let me get a few things strait the T-rex could see you is you stood still. The velociraptor had feathers and was only 3 feet tall. sarapods probably couldn't lift their heads above thier shoulders and they grazed on the ferns that covered the ground(grass had not yet evloved). The only spinosaurus fossilized skelton found was bombed in WW2 so the one in JP#3 was not entirly accurate it was only a meduim sized spinosaurus though(the one in the movie. the brontosaurus is now called the apatosuarus. i dont mean to sound rude but thank you for reading.

Large, healthy Velociraptors would still be quite small. Infact, a human being could kill one with a well aimed kick (No, I'm not advocating cruelity to animals!) Unless the T.rex was too weak to stand or make any large movement, there would be virtually no chance at all for Velociraptor. Hmm, but then again fighting a opponent that cannot fight back is hardly a fight is it?

Okay let me get one thing strait Stegosaurus and T-rex never had a single battle together so no one can predict who would win! stegosaurus live in the late Jurassic and T-rex in the Late Cretaceous period and I have a little info on the Velociraptor the "speedy theif" turns out that one was found fighting a protoceratops and he lost YEP! My favorite dinosaur is Ornitholestes.He had all the features of a classic carnivorous dinosaur,he was small,light and fast and had to be quite a survivor considering all the competition he had from larger predators.He had to be very wary and cunning and tough to find prey and to stay alive among his titanic cousins of the late jurrassic.Plus the hands on his forearms had opposable digits that allowed him to grip his food,and he had a more powerful bite and could take on larger prey than his known ancestors.

D.S. is right. people should stop making fun of dinos and stop talking about things they don't know. that guy that said T-rex are stupid, doesn't even know what he was talking about. he's no scientist. the t-rex wuz 1 of the smartest, most popular, most powerful and most feared dinos of it's time. i'm not a rex lover, and i'm no scientist either. my fav dino is Utahraptor, but i kno that if the t-rex was smart enuf to last millions of years - which is much longer than humans have - then it would not only be smart enuff to defend itself from velociraptors, but also smart enuff to kill any of us. people should also stop getting their info from JP1, 2 + 3. find a more reliable source. b-cuz it was never proven that t-rex can't see you when you don't move. the velociraptors in JP 1, 2&3 are very exaggerrated. dinos can't open doors! there weren't any doors when they lived. how would they know how to open one?!! and they cannot set a trap with a dead corpse like they did in JP3. 50% of the people in this chat room or wutever it is probably wouldn't think to do that!!they are also not that big, they are shorter than a ten year old! but i'm sure a large pack of large, healthy velociraptors could take down an old, weak, sick rex.

Let me set something straight: some people have been saying that Utahraptor - The King of all Dinos that could kick any of them from then to now - was in Jurassic Park. let me comfirm this for u:no Utahraptors were in Jurassic Park 1, 2 or 3. if they were, there wouldn't be a Jurassic Park 2 or 3, cuz no one would have made it off the island on the first one.

Utahraptor b cuz they would kill any other carnivore including: T-rex, Spinosaurus, Giganotosaurus, Carcharodonosaurus, Allosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Megalosaurus, Dilophosaurus, Deinonychus, Troodon, and yes, Velociraptor as well. T-rex. I can't stand these people making fun of other dinosaurs. There is no proof that t-rex. was stupid. It may have traveled in packs. Velociraptors are only a couple of feet tall! There is fossil evidence of a pack of velociraptors killing a t-rex. but it was probably sick or old. We don't know that some dinosaurs were fast or slow. Velociraptor,T-rex, Spinosaurus, Eoraptor, all those dinosaurs were probably fast. Anyway, we can't tell just by the fossils what defences dinosaurs had! You can't tell that a skunk has scent glands by looking at the bones. T-rex. may have breathed fire or something. That may be where the legends of fire breathing dragons came from. Maybe thelast dinosaurs were killed by humans who feared them. And if you say humans and dinos didn't live at the same time what do you think the Loch Ness Monster and Mokele Membe are?

My favorite dinosaur is tyrannosaurus.He has always been my favorite since I was little. I think spinosaurus And tyrannosaurus would be about equal in a fight. Jurassic Park /// was only a movie. Besides, tyrannosaurus would have been too hard for a spinosaurus to catch and kill one every day (or vice versa). One of my pet peaves is when something that is made up or something that has been proven wrong is talked about like fact. We do not know if velociraptors could talk to each other (although it is a good idea and may be true). And technically speaking, there actually was no "brontosaurus".

Spinosarus because it is the largest meateating dinosaur.I like it as my favorite because of its spines.I used to like the t-rex as my favorite but when i saw jurassic park 3 i saw a gigantic dinosaur with a spine,razor sharp claws like a raptor.I thought it was very cool because how fast it ran when it was chasing the people in the jurassic park 3 movie.I think the spinosaurus is more scary than the t-rex because of its size,the noises it makes,the spine,its extremley long tale,the speed of it,and those bigger,stronger arms.It also had much sharper claws.I say the only way a t-rex could beat a spinosaurus is if the t-rex can beat him with his teath or hard head.I think the Spinosaurus is well built and very cool.

My favorite dinosaur is the Diplodocus, because he was so big, and had one the longest tails of them all. The long neck, made so that he could reach deep into the forest, is balenced with his tail, yet his head is so small. He was so big, that the other dinosaurs didn't like to pick fights. I like all coelurosaurs, (raptors, etc.) because of their light, birdlike build, high speed, and mental capacity. They had a tendency toward large braincases, so their brains were very big for their size. Plus, large brain + carnivore = very smart.
My favorite one of these is the Troödon, because they were among the smartest coelurosaurs, they had mixed type teeth (more similar to a dog's than a human's) and so could eat almost anything. They had stereoscopic vision (could see 3-D like us) and so were better hunters. I do like many others, though, especially the horn of Parasaurolophus, which acted like a sounding chamber to make loud, deep calls which carried for miles.

About my name. It is just a modification of a stupid nickname my friends gave me. I realized it sounded like Troödon, so there you go.

This dinosaur was a lightly built,fast-moving,agile,bipedal,bird-like
dinosaur.It was built to kill.This meat-eater had a curved flexible neck and a big head with sharp,serrated teeth in very powerful jaws.

I like Tyrannosaurus Rex. T-Rex is big, and powerful. Everyone who calls T-Rex a scavenger is wrong. T-Rex was not that big to be a scavenger. Sure T-Rex has short arms, but he's big. He doesn't need to carry, his prey, he has a big mouth.

I don't agree with the part in Jurassic Park 3. T-Rex is better than that fish eating Spinosaurus. They wrriter got it wrong. Spinosaurus should have been killed because T-Rex has a biting force of over 12,000 newtons. In Jurassic Park 4, the final fight scene, it should be T-Rex vs. Spinosaurus, and T-Rex is the winner. I will always be partial to Tyrannosaurus rex. I want to point out that Jurassic Park III is wrong by portraying Spineosaurus aegypticus as being more powerful, this is something now that mainstream America now believes. S. aegypticus had pointed conical teeth designed for puncturing and holding, very similar to crocodiles. It also had large forearms with a massive claw designed for tearing. This means that Spineosaurus did not have as powerful a jaw as T. rex. Furthermore, while it is true that S. aegypticus may have been longer than T. rex it was not a significant fact. Since the only complete skeleton was destroyed during the bombing of Berlin, we will never know exact demensions of Spineosaurus.

T. rex was built for desturction. Just from looking at the skeletal reconstructions, one notices just how massive the cervical vertabrae and skull are. They are full of areas for muscle attachments to power the jaws. Look at the teeth. Six inches, serrated and curved. Designed for ripping and tearing. Compared to other Spineosauridae, the forearms are smaller and weaker and lacking extra digits. Clearly this is a sign that Tyrannosaurs were investing in jaw power at the expense of the forearms. This no scavenger either! Why else would nature evolve something so large and powerful just to pick up scraps? Look at the carnivores of today, while all will eat carrion, none are dedicated scavengers. Those that are, are small and travel alone mostly (jackals). Recent evidence from the Black Hills Institute seems to suggest that T. rex was not a solitary creature.

Tyrannosaurus may not have been the largest carnivore but I find the size and power irresistible.

My favorite dinosaur would have to be the Brachiosaur. I imagine them as very gentle herbivores, despite their gargantuan size. Their predators were most likely few, due to their enormous strength and measurements. Also, their anatomy interests me, being that they probably needed a large heart for their blood to be able to circulate into the 30 ft. neck. Their digestive system was huge too, and they even needed to swallow rocks (gastroliths) to help with the process of food digestion. I find them to be amazing creatures.

T.rex most probably had some form of social structure. They could have even hunted in a pack. And it makes sense, a single Anatotian can feed an entire T.rex pack well and is easier to secure if they work in a team. They most certainly gathered in some way or another.

Lets face it, T-rex and raptors were the best hunters. They were fast, dangerous, and smart. T-rex had to be a solitary hunter, because 1:they were too big to hunt in packs, 2:they didn't need to hunt in packs, 3:they were easily the equivelant of 10 deinonychus. Also, a lot of people are saying velociraptor was puny because he and a protoceratops died fighting. The size difference was almost equal to that of T-rex and triceratops, and I'm sure there were times when T-rex was killed by a triceratops. So anyway, T-rex and raptors were about equal, but because T-rex has so many votes, I'm still voting for

The people who said the Tyrannosaur is exclusively a scavenger are wrong. Scavengers are not built like that, look at it. The Tyrannosaur has long ankle bones built for speed, much like an ostrich. The head is heavy with a strong lower mandible for taking shock from wiggling prey. Look at its prey, Triceratops and types of hadrosaurs were huge, some reaching almost as big as the Tyrannosaur. Also people should not always refer to the Tryrannosaur as only a male enity because the largest specimens found were females. Females most likely were larger because they had to protect their young from Dromeosaurs and small mammals who'd gladly raid a nest.

Another point I would like to hit is the Velociraptor size. Because of the Jurassic Park movies, many people think that the Velociraptor is a large six to eight foot tall beast. Wrong! The Velociraptor averages two to three feet high and up to seventy pounds. Yes, they did hunt larger prey like the Zuniceratops or again, small hadrosaurs. But they grew no bigger than that. The raptors in the movies were most likely Utahraptors considering the size. Something about Utahraptors now. Contary to what most people think, scientists have come up with theories of how the Utahraptors used their hands to kill instead of the large ten inch claws on their feet. I support this theory.

In Jurassic Park III, it shows the Spinosaur killing a Tyrannosaur. I think this is wrong because the reports on the Spinosaur show that it had a weak jaw and more suited for catching fish than catching a Tyrannosaur. I'm not saying I don't like the movie, but the chance of a Spinosaur killing a Tyrannosaur is very highly unlikely.

Tyrannosaurus Rex - A true king! Was a very capable predator as well as scavenger, with the ability to chase away any other animals from a kill. Didn't need powerful forearms because its jaws could more than handle the job. Its chest cavity housed a very large heart and lungs. This means T. Rex didn't need to be able to outrun its prey because it had stamina and could outlast its prey during a chase, much like a hyena does today. Would take spinosaurus in a fight.

Tyrannosaurus because tyrannosaurus rex means: Tyrant lizard king. Its huge head was as big as a bathtub. It was a hideous beast about 40 feet long and 15 to 20 feet tall. It had huge sharp strong jaws the size of bananas and were incredibly strong, used for gobbling up other dinosaurs. It's special because it has interesting jaws and amazing speed and incredible height strength and muscle power to make its life longer and nice. It was at the top of the food chain and had nightmarish movement and a terrifying face with 2 huge claws on its tiny hands. It was a 2-legged creature with speeds of 25 collimators ph. It could live up to 100 years. It might have hunted in groups.

I chose this dinosaur because when it is angry it can scare off predators with it's big horns, and it's large 20ft body.
And if it can't fight it can run up to 30kmph (about 20mph) and run away from it's enemy. It is a kind dino unless it gets scared and he starts to warn his enemy to leave there territory.

on another note, i would like to clear some things for people who dont know much bout dinos, and who are fantasising that t-rex was the best. the fact is that gigantasaurus was bigger, but this still doesnt mean it could win in a battle(that is if they ever met,t-rex was in mexico through montana, giganta was in south america).either could win, it just depends. also, one of you believes that dilophosaurus actually spit venom, not true! sure it sounds cool to imagine this, but there is no proof of this, jurassic park was just playing w/your mind! and yes, the real velociraptor was only 3-4 ft high, not 6, but they did hunt in packs, this goes out to all those velociraptor bashing t-rex freaks! the fact is if the raptor met t-rex both had an equal chance of winning!

My prediction: T-Rex keeps turning round and round, playing nuts with the eyes of his dept-perception impaired opponent and finally rendering himself invisible to the Spinosaurus, before pummeling him to death with a truck load of Spinosaurus JP3 merchandise that never sold.

T.rex,and these are the reasons why:

1) It'll kill spinosaurus 7 times before spinosaurus hit the ground.
2) T.rex could kill gigantonosaurus and eat his kids.

3) If there was a giant maniraptor the size of T.rex, T.rex would still have won using a quick single bite to the head or neck (or anywhere). Besides T.rex's weaponery is for beating the coprolite out of any Dromaeosaur any day.

4) Championship biteforce.

5) Highly advanced coelosaur.

6) Forward facing eyes for gawking at female rexs.

7) Pound for pound the deadliest dinosaur known.

We've read from the JP3 webpage it was paleontologist Jack Horner who proposed matching up Spinosaurus against T.rex. Jack Horner obviously has something against T.rex if you ask me, and he just seems to want to beat T.rex. Well, JP3 was just a movie, so it dosen't count. But what if Jack Horner really decides to pit Spinosaurus against T.rex in a arena?

The crowd roars as the aggressive T.rex enters the ring, but the cheers fall silent when the said-to-be worthy adversary makes his entrance. Spinosaurus must be out of his mind. Doesn't he realize that T.rex eats critters like him for breakfast in the jungles. The fight doesn't take long to start, and shouldn't take long to end. Spinosaurus starts defensively circling T.rex, avoiding the barrage of bites that are coming his way. A quick dodge to the left, another to the right. Horner cheering him on. "come on littel buddy, go for the ears!" But the showmanship doesn't last long. Spinosaurus makes one false move and T.rex grabs hold of the stinkin' squirrel. Horner is quick with the towel and Rocky has lost control of his bladder, and the many chestnuts that he has just gathered.

Come on guys, what were you thinkin' here? Look at the friggin' power and meaness advantage. Seesh! :)

Carcharodontosaurus is in his home element here, being so brash and bold to challange T.rex. He will waste no time in running over and pounding on T.rex. Since all he knows is biting and ramming, he will do this by biting and ramming poor T.rex repeatedly all over his body. T.rex will not offer any resistance at first, because he does not believe in starting fights and does not understand why he was dragged out of the his hunting grounds *again*. Fortunately for the Tyrannosaur, the bites will not hurt him much (Tyrannosaurs are known for thier toughness after all), causing only a slow journey into semi-consciousness from the constant pounding to the head. Once there, he will start having flashbacks from his hatchinghood, and, believing that he is being bullied by bigger dinosaurs when he was small and young and could not defend himself, he will finally Snap.

With a quick, two-handed jab to Carcharodontosaurus' midsection, this trained killer will pull both of Carcharodontosaurus' lungs out from his stomach. As Carcharodontosaurus looks down in uncomprehending (can he look any other way?) shock, T.rex will slip the lungs over his arms like boxing gloves to argument them and begin bludgeoning Carcharodontosaurus until he falls, gasping, to the mat.

At this point, Carcharodontosaurus will start having flashbacks from all the fights in his life, finally wrapping up with everyone who has died fighting T.rex, beckoning him. The entire flashback sequence will take approximately twenty minutes. And Carcharodontosaurus dies, another victim of the "I must try to beat T.rex" syndrome. T.rex stands over the body of Carcharodontosaurus and waves those lungs as the crowd goes wild before heading back to secure another meal of Hardosaurus.

T.Rex would win, no contest. He may be heavily outnumbered by Carcharodontosaurus, Spinosaurus, Utahraptor and Stygmaloch, but once the fight starts, he would open his ultra-jaw-o-death. Being a trained killing machine, I'm sure he could think of at least 47 ways to fold, mutilate, spindle or otherwise hurt Carcharodontosaurus, Spinosaurus, Utahraptor and Stygmaloch really bad with his jaw. T.Rex wins easily and decides to join the WWF, while Carcharodontosaurus, the only survivor on his team and now missing an arm and a leg, tells his manager to schedule his next bout with somebody easier, say Mr. Rodgers or Pee Wee Herman.

My absolute favorite dinosaur is the Styracosaurus. It is my favorite for many reasons. 1) I doubt that anyone else will vote for it. 2) Because I did a report on it in thrd grade. 3) I found some really cool facts about it, like it chews with it's cheek. That's only one of many. 4) I think that it is a one of the prettyest dinos ever, if not the very prettyest. 5) I just found it really amazing, and I don't think I will ever find as great a dinosaur as this. I even wrote a poem about it in sxth grade. It starts like this.
The great and wonderful Styracosaurus lifts its nose.
It sniffs.
No danger, nothing new.
It leans down to eat the vegitation at it's feet.
Snuffling around, it finds a tasty treat,
Then chews it with its cheek.
This creature bursts out of the frame.
It flys you away.
It gives you something to think about.
It is wonderful.
I'm surprised I remembered that much. But I guess you get the point.
I hope it wins, which I doubt. Probobly T-rex will win. But I don't care. I have finnaly told some one howw much I love the Styracosaurus.
