Extra Information
The information on the pages are:
- The female ladybug lays clusters of tiny eggs on leaves. The eggs hatch in 3-5 days.
- A ladybug larva hatches from an egg. It has 6 legs and a long body. It eats leaves, and it molts (sheds its skin) many times as it grows. This stage lasts for 2 to 4 weeks.
- After it grows enough, the larva attaches itself to a leaf and loses its old skin - it is then a pupa. This stage lasts for 5 to 7 days.
- The adult ladybug emerges from the pupa.
