Simple Math with 100 Small Items

Have each student bring 100 small items from home in a ziplock bag (pennies, dried beans, paper clips, buttons, pebbles, etc. - avoid edibles like jelly beans or m&m's, because they'll probably be eaten before the math activity is completed).
