Little Explorers Picture Dictionary |
EnchantedLearning.com Find a Theme Word for Each Letter: Printable Worksheets In these activities, the student finds and writes a specific type of word for each letter of the alphabet (e.g., animal words or verbs). Finding the words involves both thinking about the sounds of words and the subject of the printout. A dictionary (like Little Explorers online picture dictionary) may be helpful in finding some of the words. These printouts can be used as a group activity or as an individual activity (for older students). These are also fun activities around the dinner table (without the paper) - just go around the table; start with "A," and each person does the next letter of the alphabet. |
