Hi everybody! I'm back from Paris at long last! The city itself was gret but to say the least I did not enjoy the consecutive 11 hour plane rides...
It seems I have a bit of catching up to do:
Welcome back Ian. Spinosaurus, like all other dinos, is very cool. I side with da masta on his opinions on Spinosaurus vs. T-rex, however. I also believe the Rex would have a bit of a speed advantage but I won't go into any details for now.
Da masta: Ok., one can't be 100% sure that Ceratosaurs were more rare, but as you once said, in paleontology, you have to assume a lot.
I'll read the new stories as soon as I can.
There have been many more Allosaur findings than Ceratosaur findings in the Morrisson formation, for example.

Nobody apart from me posted yesterday!

Joe Bob your skill in writing DWF episodes and making them both action adventure/thriller and funny at the same time is admirable.
Just 1 tip: each time you post try to post more in each chapter, even if it means you have to post it a little later!
That's what I do, though I take "a little later" to its ludicrous limits unfortunately!

Yes, the Barney thing on DinoTalk was quite appauling.
"Kizza" (Keiran, actually) wasn't being serious though, that was just his idea of a joke. I kinda panicked because I thought he'd say loads of things about me, and maybe go a little too far.
I'll read your DWF in a sec Joe Bob.
I really should do more DWF myself. I don't know if I can do that without deleteing Unreal Tournament and GTA2 and Quake III Arena, though! Those damn games are impeding my education. If only ions hadn't been discovered yet...

Chapter 2 up, in case you didn't notice. See what happens when you like Barney? And I hope the raptors win, Gianna, for your sake. *points to a seemingly rabid Razorclaw*

Great!
And I'm really glad you all think that what I'm writing is good. It gives me motivation. I am more of a scientist than a writer!

Thanks for answering my question. *SURE. I LIKE ANSWERING PEOPLE'S QUESTIONS, AND TIM DOES TOO. (TIM HAS LEFT FOR PARIS BUT HE'LL BE BACK.) AND THIS IS HOW I ALWAYS ANSWER OTHER PEOPLE'S POSTS WHERE THERE ARE MANY SMALL POINTS TO BE MADE. IT'S FASTER.*. I'm glad to know JPIII was pretty accurate about spino. You make some interesting points about T. Rex v.s. Spino.
Spinosaurus is one of my favorite dinos. T. Rex was a cool dinosaur but T. Rex had such little claws that he could barely use for anything.
I wish there would be more movies with Spinosaurus.
Spino. had longer more muscular arms and one finger more on each hand.
That's why I was thinking it could beat a T. Rex. *WELL, I'M SURE YOU KNOW THAT IN NATURE EVERYTHING HAS A REASON IAN. T - REX WAS A VERY SUCCESSFUL ANIMAL, SO IT MUST NOT HAVE NEEDED IT'S ARMS FOR ANYTHING. IT NEVER USED THEM SO THEY GOT SMALLER. THEY WEREN'T A FACTOR IN NATURAL SELECTION ANY MORE. THIS IS BECAUSE T - REX HAD SUCH A MASSIVE POWERHOUSE SKULL AND HUGE BITE FORCE, (36,000 NEWTONS A SQUARE INCH, THE MOST POWERFUL BITE OF ANY KNOWN ANIMAL!) THAT IT DID ALL THE WORK WITH IT'S MOUTH. AND SPINOSAURUS' BITE AND SKULL STRENGTH ARE PRETTY FAR OFF T - REX. SADLY, HOWEVER, TOO MANY PEOPLE LIKE T - REX BECAUSE HE IS SO HYPED UP. SO I THINK THAT HAVING ANOTHER DINOSAUR AS A "STAR OF THE SHOW" IN A FILM IS A REFRESHING BREAK, (NO OFFENSE GIANNA AND TIM AND OTHER REX FANS HERE.) ANYWAY, HAVE YOU BEEN HERE BEFORE AT ALL IAN? I CALL MYSELF "DA MASTA" AS TRADITION, THAT'S WHAT I CALLED MYSELF WHEN I FIRST CAME HERE IN A BAD MOOD, AND, ER, WASN'T VERY NICE. SORRY EVERYONE WHO WAS!
HERE THEN, AGAIN.
Ian *YOU DON'T HAVE TO PUT YOUR NAME HERE IAN, WE ALL TYPE LIKE WE TALK. IT'S ALL LAID BACK HERE. (AND I'M NOT TELLING YOU WHAT TO DO; IT'S JUST A SUGGESTION.*"

"p.s. I'm new at this. What does HRF mean?"
Hardcore Rex Fans. They aren't like a co-ordinated group or anything but they think the same and gang up on anyone who doesn't like T - rex, and discredit other dinosaurs. They tried to swarm me too, for a few weeks, before the change. Remember you said you like Spinosaurus?
They'd attack you and insult Spinosaurus for that. But it's safe now.
This used to be a very busy forum. Many people came here.
But On the 1st of January JC (Jeananda Col, the webmaster,) had to introduce the honor system for the site to keep functioning. Basically how this works is that to be able to post on DinoTalk and Dinofiction/Picture, you have to be a site supporter. You are a site supporter if you financially suport EnchantedLearning.com.
I persuaded my parents to support, as did Tim M, Joe Bob, Tom G, Gianna, Me, DinoSol, (but he's never here nowadays,) and T - Master. (But he's never here, either.)
All the other regulars are gone now, and people who just occasionally stumble onto the site can't post either. This is like the "Dark Age" on this site, and apparently the whole web in general.
If you are interested to see how everything was, all the past posts are logged on the DinoTalk Archives at the bottom of this page. Just select the date from which you want to view the posts.
BTW, (by the way,) I'm not always nice on those archives, always for one of two reasons:
1) Someone (normally the HRF) are being rude and abusive towards me for no apparent reason, (in the HRF's case often for not supporting T - Rex,)
or
2) I'm just in a bad mood, (for various reasons you probably don't want to know.)
And please be a regular, we need more people badly!
I first came here in, uh, early october I think.

"carnegii"
Great dinos Gianna but since Andrew Carnegi has been dead for some time now I'm not sure that someone would name another dinosaur after him.
But that doesn't really matter.

Great Joe Bob!
I am very releived that you didn't abandon your funny writing style. Please keep to the way you do stories, because they are the only truly funny stuff ever posted on this site.
The only ever attempt at humour here was my joke months and months ago which everyone including me did not find funny, caused an outrage, and gave the HRF some nice heavy duty ammunition to use against me.
And JC decided that I had gone over the top too which did not improve my situation.

Joe Bob, the corporation I invented is just what the HRF terrorists are hiding behind. But I haven't read your story yet though, I going to just now. But what I'm writing is really long. I think the genetically enhanced dinosaur infestation is going to spread globally later in what I'm writing.
But my story'll be off with a slow start.

I think I need to explain a few things. My
story is after Da Masta's stories, so that's why Razorclaw, Slasher,
and I know about it. I also have a new dinosaur to add to the new
Terrofex's arsenal.
Velicichierus (fast arm)
Height: 5 ft.
Speed: 90 mph.
Main weapon: Claws.
Weight: 99 lbs.
Species:Raptor/?
Info:This creature is able to move at speeds up to 90 mph., and its
arms can move faster than the human eye can see. In short, it can tear
out your guts before you can blink. It's very quiet, it can scuttle up
walls like a gecko, and it can camouflage itself like a
chameleon.
