I'm back! So you're 12 Tom G. So that woulld make you in 7th grade.(I think.) Do you take science classes other than Biology and and Chemistry? Because I never did in 7th grade.
from Tim M., age ?, ?, ?, ?; January 11, 2002

"Tom G, "An Occultosaurs' life" appears to have stopped.

Keep writing!"

I will but its still the holidays and i haven't got round to it.
and you should do some more on your Torvosaurus story.

from Tom G, age ?, ?, ?, ?; January 11, 2002

"My birthday is March 16th."

thats weird... my birthday is on March 17th.
And I am 12 gianna so your guess was right.

from Tom G, age ?, ?, ?, ?; January 11, 2002

My guess for ages!!!

da masta-13-14
Tim-15
Tom G.-10-12
Jason-14(OF COURSE)
T-master-14(BUT HE'S NOT HERE)

from Gianna, age ?, ?, ?, ?; January 11, 2002

My birthday is March 16th.
from Gianna, age almost 11, somewherevill, ?, ?; January 11, 2002

Tom G, "An Occultosaurs' life" appears to have stopped.

Keep writing!
from da masta, age ?, ?, ?, ?; January 11, 2002

"JC said that a pack of Velociraptors can make T-rex bleed to death. So Allosaurus must have been able to kill T-rex."

Well Gianna, as you used to say, it doesn't really matter because they never met anyway. But if it came to T - Rex vs. Allosaurus, and they had to fight, because in natural settings they would not, (you remember the gene stuff,) then it would be very evenly matched. The Allosaur's weaponry would be enough to kill T. Rex, and T - Rex's weaponry could kill Allosaurus, the fact that it was overkill doesn't matter. The sheer forces involved would kill or badly maim BOTH dinosaurs. About "raptors," you remember my theory? They did not live in packs at all. They'd scarper.

Actually, I have another idea to do with dromaesaurs.

Hardcore Rex fans used to say that it would only be worth it for the larger dromaesaurs to hunt in large packs if they had an eusocial system, like with queens, sterile workers, etc. and they said that it was unlikely, almost impossible. However,

1) I think that they don't need an eusocial system to hunt in packs, they wouldn't have such large losses, especially if they swarmed their prey quickly(reminds one of the ruder Rex fans from not way too long ago...).

2) This idea is based on the spotted hyenas, crocuta crocuta. The naked mole ratís (heterocephalus glaber,) and antís social systems are not the only ones where the only the dominant animal, or queen, is allowed to breed. In hyena packs, only the dominant female and male breed, (although the other pack members are not sterile.) That could have applied to dromaesaurs as well. There could have been a dominant female and male, who produced the offspring, and the rest of the pack just helped to rear them. I canít see anything wrong with this theory. What would those Harcore Rex fans have to say now!? Especially if the dromaesaurids where oviparous, they could have been very fast breeders. We just donít know.
from da masta, age ?, ?, ?, ?; January 11, 2002

"age almost 11"

So when is your birthday Gianna?
from da masta, age ?, ?, ?, ?; January 11, 2002

I have a lot of homework due tomorrow and don't have time to post now.
from Jason, age ?, ?, ?, ?, ; January 10, 2002

Nobody's posted ONCE today yet!!!
from Gianna, age ?, ?, ?, ?; January 10, 2002

Oh, I get it. Only site supporters can have their work be here. okay. Then you DID fix every glitch. Thanks.
from Gianna, age almost 11, somewhereville, us, ?; January 9, 2002

JC said that a pack of Velociraptors can make T-rex bleed to death. So Allosaurus must have been able to kill T-rex.
from Gianna, age ?, ?, ?, ?; January 9, 2002
I don't remember saying that. I try to keep out of these discussions. JC

Allosaurus could kill T-rex but it would be unlikely. But it still could. T-rex would probably kill Allosaurus first. Allosaurus could be able to rip the T-rex's throat out.......BUT T-REX HAS A BETTER CHANCE OF WINNING.
from GIANNA, age ?, ?, ?, ?; January 9, 2002

"I get the message."

I didn't do that to say I'm not from Britain, just to say I'm from America. The one when I said UNITED STATES NOT BRITAIN I wanted you to get the meesage.

And by the way I hope it wasn't insulting when I said your dramatic sonetimes...I am too.
from Gianna, age ?, ?, ?, ?; January 9, 2002

"And I have another theory about dromaesaurids.

I think that they where nocturnal.

My other "theory" says about most of them hunting small mammals, right?

Well, considering that a lot of these mammals most likely lived at night, and the advancedness of dromaesaur eyes, (BIG, sclerotic rings, part of the brain to do with sight well developed, etc.)
I think it quite likely that a lot of dromies hunted at night"

I think dromies sometimes hunted at night and sometimes at day. I think Troodon would've hunted at night but i think some dinosaurs had big eyes because animals low to the ground usually use smell the the most but most animals high of the ground use sight most so I think that because they are lower to the ground some small dinosaurs evolved bigger and more complex eyes so that they could stull use sight most because it would be harder to catch prey such as small mammals without large eyes. But I guess that if the mammals were nocturnal then the dromies could've been nocturnal. and you mean the small ones right?
from Tom G, age ?, ?, ?, ?; January 9, 2002

"united states of...AMERICA!"

I get the message.
from da masta, age ?, ?, ?, ?; January 9, 2002

"I don't like Giganotosaurus much either(and I'm surprised it's related to Allosaurus, my third favorite!)."

Yeah, it's a carcharodontosaurine. I actually quite like Giganotosaurus.
from da masta, age ?, ?, ?, ?; January 9, 2002

"Sometimes I feel da masta is very dramatic. *LIKE MY ENTRANCE IN SEPTEMBER?*

In early December, some zoomdinosaurs regulars were leaving. *YEAH. THERE WAS TROUBLE WITH SWARMING I THINK.*

"We'll never see good trivia again!!!!" *THAT'S ME!*

When T-master was gone, da masta went all dramatic and said there will never be good trivia again.*YEAH, WELL, WITHOUT ALL THE REGULARS THIS FORUM DOESN'T FEEL... COMPLETE.* Tim gives good, challenging trivia.*TIM HARDLY EVER GAVE TRIVIA. HE ONLY STARTED RECENTLY.*

I kind of expected that from him. *UH... YOU AREN'T GETTING ANNOYED WITH ME OR ANYTHING?*

By the way, da masta, Diloph REALLYYYYY wants to know your real name and whether you have a British accent or not.*[CHUKLES.] WELL, AS I SAID, GENETICALLY SPEAKING I'M NOT REALLY BRITISH, INCLUDING MY NAME. TELL HIM NOT TO WORRY, HE'LL FIND OUT. SOONER OR LATER BUT HE WILL. AND NO, RIGHT NOW I DON'T REALLY HAVE A STRONG BRITISH ACCENT, BUT I HAD A REALLY BRUMMY ACCENT (APPARENTLY,) WHEN I WAS ABOUT SIX.*"
from da masta, age ?, ?, ?, ?; January 9, 2002

I wouldn't say EVERY glitch, but most of them. When I click on Neko's name I see the novel.
from Gianna, age almost 11, somewhereville, united states of...AMERICA!, ?; January 8, 2002
No - Neko hasn't become a site supporter. In a little while, if the stragglers don't join, I'll take down their names entirely. JC

~~~| Welcome back Tom G! |~~~
Are you a NATIVE new zealander by the way?
from da masta, age ?, ?, ?, ?; January 7, 2002
The native New Zealanders are maori and the european New Zealanders are called pakeha. I'm pakeha and my family arrived here in the 1840s. So I'm not a native New Zealander. About 15% of the population are maori.
from Tom G, age ?, ?, ?, ?; January 8, 2002
OOps, I wrote the wrong thing, I realize. I should have put Diloph USED to hate it but I put Diloph hATES it instead, I just found out today and he didn't tell me.
"(and I can't imagine why)"
I don't like Giganotosaurus much either(and I'm surprised it's related to Allosaurus, my third favorite!).
from Gianna, age ?, ?, ?, ?; January 8, 2002
I think that what I would call a dinosaur I found would depend on what it was, I repeat.
And I have another theory about dromaesaurids.
I think that they where nocturnal.
Yay, welcome back DinoSol!
from da masta, age ?, ?, ?, ?; January 8, 2002
"Have you ever noticed that in Star Trk, they never ever encountered a dinosaur type animal on any planet. Or did I miss one.? That would make a really great episode, they'd go to another planet and be in a Cretaaceous type environment and battle a T. rex type animal. Also, how about best dinosaur name?"
Actually, there was an episode (voyager I think,) where there was this race of aliens which evolved from lambeosaurine hadrosaurs on earth, and I think they got off the planet or something before humans evolved.
from da masta, age ?, ?, ?, ?; January 8, 2002
"Well, you don't have to tease."
I'm not teasing. If he hates Giganotosaurus, (I can't imagine why,)
and he puts it tenth on his list, then what about all those other dinosaurs?
I'm just making an observation, no offense.
from da masta, age ?, ?, ?, ?; January 8, 2002
JC, it looks like some messages that I put on the voting forum got put up here. Is something wrong?
from da masta, age ?, ?, ?, ?; January 8, 2002
I moved them over. JC
