Thanks for your support Da Masta, I hope to see
some people with some knowledge of dinosaurs, I may be shallow at this
dinosaur thing, but I'll keep on trying.
T-Rex is my fave dino, and Utahraptor would be my second, 3rd would have to be
triceratops, cuz I'd like to see a car play chicken with it...I dunno, thats

Here it is again:
Well, Ed Cope (I think,) thought that the space in it's sacral vertebrae was a
second brain, but now we know that it was just a nerve organ of some sort.
Probably to help with it's tail. It's all spiky, and you have to swing it
carefully, etc. Maybe I'm wrong. Hey, Brad, you know. I remember you writing
something about it. Help me here, I may be wrong.
Well, it was a nerve signal processing organ, anyway. All chordates have one
brain. I think everyone was right.

Hmmm...well, I'm going to try and put out the facts for this Spinosaurus thing...one other thing before I start dishing out
my theories, I'm betting that there wouldn't of been so much argument if there hadn't been that annoying fight between T-Rex and Spinosaurus in JP3.
Tyrannosaurus Rex, was a large heavy bipedal dinosaur, weighing from 6-7 tons,
it was heavier than Spinosaurus. Including in the T-Rexes arsenal would be
his bone crushing jaws, capable of ripping huge chunks of meat and bone with
one bite. T-Rex also had a much more bulkier look and a much larger rib cage,
T-Rex was made more truly for hunting dinosaurs, it was also able to hunt fish
as well though probably not a sufficient as Spinosaurus would of.
First off, there was a geographical barrier between the two called the
"Atlantic Ocean". Even more so, Spinosaurus lived about 97-95million yrs ago, while T-Rex 65 million yrs ago.
These predators, if they where to actually meet in combat, would probably of
avoided eachother just for the fact that they do not want to injure
themselves, and they also don't want to waste precious calories on fighting.
More over, there where plenty of food to go around, so they would of hunted
there natural prey, not eachother. Survival is the number one issue when you
look at this.
Spinosaurus if you look at him, is very thin, lean, and his long snout, is
mostly ideal for fishing, his teeth are just straight and pointy, made to most
likely snatch fish. It could also have killed dinosaurs as well, and if you
look at the hands of the Spinosaurus, it was massive, and tucked under its
body, these hands would of been perfect for snatching, big fish.
Looking at Spinosaurus, it was not really built for massive power, its big
sail on its back would of caused major trouble, if it where to get an a
serious fight, it could also work to its advantage, making itself look bigger.
Spinosaurus also had a humongously huge vertebrae, which is what made this
animal so long, it also had a very thin rib cage, like that of Dilophosaurus
and Compsognathids.
T-Rexes teeth where also very long and curved, this would of made it able to
hunt large animals, also, its had many serrations, as to Spinosaurus which
have little or no serrations at all.
Now, if we where to forget about the geographical barrier and the times they
where actually alive, the only way I could see a T-Rex against a Spinosaurus
if there natural prey where very scarce, and the T-Rex and Spinosaurus had to
go in competetion against eachother.
If they where to fight, I would have to really go for Tyrannosaurus Rex, not
because T-Rex if my favorite dinosaur, but because it was more built for
hunting large prey, and also, its bigger and bulkier body, would of insure its
success, as well as its jaws.
Spinosaurus does have the arms, but I don't know if they would of been that
effective, for as I said earlier before, Spinosaurus's arms where tucked under
its body, this would of made it more geared towards fishing not, fighting,
although it still would of caused some trouble for T-Rex.
After looking at the facts, I really have to say T-Rex, Spinosaurus would have
the length department, but does size really matter, no, it would be like
saying A lion vs. a Tiger, just because a tiger is slightly longer, doesn't
mean its going to neccesarilly win. Same thing goes with T-Rex,
Giganotosaurus, and Spinosaurus, in my very own expressed opinion, I would
have to say who is the better fighter will win, which means, who knows how to
kill faster, quicker and easier without risking much injury will be the
victor, not size.
So this is all I have to say...
:)
So please, I don't want any Spino fans knocking at my door waiting to beat me
up or something like that, I just want people to know the real facts, and that
if you have the better equipment, and you know what your doing, you'll be the
victor, not on how big you are.

Hahahahaha, now I laugh and diss myself,it seems I
have made an inaccurate decision about the legs of T-Rex, the longer femur
which has also resulted in humans, have made them slower, much like in other
animals, a cheetah for example has very long lower leg bones, enabling it to
run faster...but this still doesn't stop from me saying that T-Rex was a fast
superpredator.

When I read this forum about dinosaurs, I either
laugh really hard, think that some people dun know what there talking about,
or else I'm very shocked at just how much some people do know about dinosaurs,
especially the ones who are younger than me. I for one, am sick and I tired
of T-Rex vs. T-Rex vs. T-Rex vs. This drags on, first he fought Giga than he
fought Spino, then it was the infamous Triple H (this was the most pointless
and stupid remark of all), now it seems to be ankylo. I won't be surprised if
pretty soon he fights Ryu from Street Fighter.
Tyrannosaurus Rex was no fighter, and he was not the ultimate machine that
could not fall. T-Rex was very much fragile as he was powerful, able to break
bones and get hurt. Heck an ankle injury could result in this big carnivores
death.
Tyrannosaurus Rex living at his time, would of been a survivor, it did not go
around looking for fights. During hunting, Tyrannosaurus Rex would not of
hunted healthy young dinosaurs that could of caused him injury, it would of
selected the old and weak and kill them instead. It is natures way of
eliminating the weak and old, to let the strong live and survive, this may
sound inhumane but it is the darn truth.
T-Rex also, most likely would of avoided a fight, especially up against and
Akylosaurus, no smart predator would fight another dinosaur just to fight,
predators most likely avoid eachother and other herbivores if it was not
needed to insure their survival. The only times I would see a T-Rex trying to
fight is when it was protecting its territory, offspring, a kill, and during
mating.
T-Rex with its spectacular powerful jaws is really a evolution in mother
nature, I mean, just when you look at the teeth and the mouth, its nothing but
jaw dropping and shock.
This dinosaur was a very dangerous dinosaur, and it was very capable of
hunting, or scavenging. Not only where these teeth leathal, they where very
strong, bone crushing powerful. Might I add the reason why they where
powerful enough enough to crush, was T-Rex flexibility in the skull, it has
poweful joints, and its whole skull would flex fully for the bite.
Also if you would look at the tooth, you would need a microscope to do this, I
don't know if you can see it with the naked eye. On the T-Rex's teeth, there
are serrations, but on the serrations, where it goes into the teeth, the
serratoin end with a circular opening. Now, the reason for this circular
opening at the end of each serration is so that that whole could absorb the
shock and impact, so that T-Rex's teeth didn't break each time he would
hunt.
This would insure that when biting and holdig down prey, and biting for the
kill, T-Rex could use the maximum power of his teeth knowing that it wouldn't
break. These phenomenal teeth, and the whole jaws and skull, would of made
T-Rex very dangerous, also the fact that that his neck muscles if you look at
it, where unbelievably large, this would of also helped out in the jaws
department, for a weak neck would of really crippled T-Rex, because the jaws
without the neck, would of gimped T-Rex.
This is also the reason, that I believe the T-Rex had short arms, small,
tucked away, so the jaws are more massive, and balance is the key for this big
predator, as well, Large forearms would of limbered him too heavy on the
front.
Now, I don't really know so much about the legs of Tyrannsaurus Rex, but in my
estimation, this dinosaur was a very fast dinosaur, for its size, for many
reasons, it had the legs of an ostrich, also, if you look at it, its femur is
longer than the other leg bone ( forgot what the name for that bone is :( )
if you where to look at Giganotosaurus's femur its shorter than the other leg
bone. What I believe is that a long femur would of made T-Rex be able to run
fast, I am willing to believe that T-Rex would of been able to run at least 30
mph, for the long femur gives the legs the most strength in running, look at
horses, there long femurs allow them to run very fast. T-Rex had very
powerful legs, and I would not be surprised if he could sprint to attack its
victims.
So there you have it, T-Rex in my theory, was not a dinosaur that was a
fighter or murderous killer, it is an animal trying to survive as best it can
in its habitat, anything could of brought this superpredator to its death, a
bad ankle, if not healed could result in its death.
Nothing is impossible to beat, yes, T-Rex is my favorite, and even if other
superpredators are bigger than him, as far as evolution is, T-Rex is the
supreme predator, built by mother nature.
