I AM NOT A SUPPORTER OF THIS SITE, BECAUSE I THINK ITS NOT WORTH THE MONEY TO GIVE MY COMMENTS. COMMENTS +SHOULD BE FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
from James B., age 17, Greenwod, Delaware, ?; January 14, 2002
Wow. I normally don't respond to comments like this, but this one just begs for an answer.
How could you possibly think that you have the right to make someone else work for your benefit? How do you think these posts get online? A person (namely me) spends many hours each day downloading mail, reading it, censoring it (when necessary), adding to html files, uploading files, checking them, and archiving them. And then, at the end of the month, I get a bill for thousands of dollars for the bandwith used to send the site out to people (like you) on the Internet. I pay for the site myself, with some help from advertisers and site supporters (and I do not get paid for my work).
You certainly have the right to your opinions (however naive they may be), and the right to do the work to create your own website in order to publish them. But I have neither an obligation to work for you, nor a desire to pay to publish your comments.
Ask yourself these questions: How much work would YOU be willing to do to publish my comments? And how much of your own money would YOU be willing to spend to publish my comments?
Also, have you demanded free service from your ISP so that you can voice your opinions online freely? (My guess is that you didn't send AOL a letter like the one you sent me - your parents probably just sent them their monthly payment as usual.) JC
The Pliensbacian was in the Lias epoch,
therefor in the Jurassic period! Not the Triassic! The pliensbachian
began about 195 million years ago, and ended 186 mya, so I don't see how
it could be in the Triassic. You probably meant to say "Jurassic" but you
were typing to fast or something.

More trivia, the last I'll be doing in a
while:
1)Where have specimens of Coeluroides largus been found?
2)Who first described Aublysodon?
3) True or false: Edward Cope described each and every species of
Diclonius.

there meant to be no picture?"
It just said that you had to put "dinopicture" in the subject box. Are
you meant to put something different for fiction JC? And BTW, I don't
have a digital camera or scanner, so I couldn't post a picture even if I
wnated to.

stage you gave as a choice! Good one! Thanks!

No, I think what the person who wrote this was trying to say was that
when the first Pachy specimens were discovered, they were thougth to be
Troodon fossils. But I don't know if this is true, so we might as well
forget about it.

As for the first one, it depends. I you lined up three Pteranodon behind
one another, wingspan wouldn't matter. But if you lined them up side by
side, probably about 30 ft.

3 = B

"but it's sad to think that the government
thinks that Dinosaurs are only for people who fail..."
Yeah, it's unfortunate. So despite the richness of Britain's fossil
deposits, (I'm not comparing it to certain... American sites by the way,
you know what I mean,) most of the paleontology work here is done by
amatuers.
Wow, that's unfortunate. Here I think you have to ace the basic science
courses to get to others like Paleontology and Astronomy."

"I'm back! So you're 12 Tom G. So that woulld
make you in 7th grade.(I think.) Do you take science classes other than
Biology and and Chemistry? Because I never did in 7th grade."
Its kind of different here. Last year was my last year of primary school.
In primary school we have one teacher to teach us everything ( i think it
might be the same in primary school in america) and the grades are (from
youngest to biggest) J1 J2 standard3 standard4 standard5 standard6 Form1
form2 (I was in form 2 last year). I'll be starting High School this year
after the summer holidays and it goes in forms up to form7 which is the
highest. In the first year of high school we only get to choose 1 full
year course or 2 half year course. And there is only one science subject
in the first year and thats like a bit of everything and you have to do
science. but I think in form 5 or form 4 i'll get to choose different
kinds of science like biology and chemistry. I don't know what i''ll do
when I can choose which.

I'm never going to do dinosaurs in school,
because only people in comprehensive schools with bad grades get taught
about dinosaurs. I'd know everything there already, (as would anyone at
this site,) but it's sad to think that the government thinks that
dinosaurs are only for people who fail in everything else.

I only got Biology, Chemistry and Physics when I was in... well, it's
year eight, don't know what it would be in the USA, or NZ. Earlier we
just had this "combined science" thing. And it was real

Torvosaurus story."
Yes, you're right Tom, I've wanted to, but never really got round to it.
I'm lazy when it comes to writing stories, or doing something creative.
A good example of this is the DWCW which never even got posted, not even
the first episode! (Those other things wheren't it, I just made it so
that the same arena was used.) But I'll try.
